Valley Forge's Spectrapro™ Polyester State Flags are resiliently constructed with 100% 2×2 ply spun polyester. Their durability and strength make them ideal flags for flying on a daily basis or in extreme conditions such as high wind. Each flag is finished with a heavy canvas heading and brass grommets, and care is taken to reproduce accurately all fine detail in intricate emblems.
The Alaska state flag was adopted on July 9th, 1927 and is unique in that seven of its eight gold stars form the "Big Dipper", and the last star is enlarged and represents the North Star.
